benefits of training

Extras Training is a key, to a making a living in the movie industry.

1) Advance Your Career
Our instructors will tell you the truth about what you need to do to get and keep a job as an extra in the Film & TV industry. Like any specialized job, it can only benefit you to learn from people who have actually done it. Working in Film & TV can be so much more than a fun job, it can be a career. It is unrealistic to think that you will succeed in a career in Film & TV without learning about the industry and what it takes to get ahead. Our workshops give you access to people who do this for a living.

2) Basic Training
The way things are done in Film & TV are distinct to the industry.
Our instructors will help to realistically prepare you for your first days on set by telling you what to expect and explaining what you will be asked to do. Lots of words and phrases are used that mean very specific things and you cannot be expected to understand, unless someone explains them to you. We will show you the basics of what you need to know to give you the best possible foundation for your career.

3) Specialized Training
As you begin to gain experience, our specialized training will help you to increase your skill set, making you more attractive to casting directors. Adding new skills to your resume is the best way to become ‘in demand’ and get more work. The more specialized training that you complete, the more money you can make.

4. Professional Trainers
Our instructors at ETC have plenty to teach you about the Film & TV business. Why? Because this is what they do for a living. Not part time, not once upon a time, but day in and day out for years. Our instructors have made a living working with some of the biggest names in the business, in front of and behind the cameras. Nobody knows everything, but by choosing to get your instruction from our seasoned professionals, you stand the best chance of being able to succeed in this business. These are the people that you will work with when you get on set, so why not learn from them?
